Natural Slate Rainscreen & Cladding
Developed with a team of Danish architects, CUPACLAD brings the resilience and natural beauty of slate from the roof to the façade. Our façade system comes complete with all the suspension parts, detailed with project specific CAD drawings. CUPACLAD has a high-end appearance and quality with a pedestrian price.
Durability: Used since Roman times, natural slate is non-combustible, naturally waterproof, impact and graffiti resistant.
Install: The CUPACLAD façade system is modular, making install and repairs easy. The slate is easy to re-use, resulting in less waste.
Ecology: Split by hand, there are no added treatments or chemicals needed for production.
CUPACLAD has extremely high percentage yield, using very little energy and water during the entire procurement process versus other resilient facades like fiber cement, zinc or terracotta rainscreens.
Energy used for production releases one tenth the amount of CO2 and water use is orders of magnitude less, resulting in minimal carbon footprint comparatively and LEED credits.
